Mrs. Adams earned a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Christian University and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at San Antonio. After teaching elementary and middle school math for many years (she won't say how many), she went back to school in 2000 to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. She came to Crooms in 2003 to teach Math and Computer Programming and loves teaching at the high school level.

Dr. Connie Collins has been principal of Crooms Academy of Information Technology since 2000 which marked the development of the planning and implementation of the technology magnet program. Dr. Collins previously worked as an assistant principal at Seminole High School and Teague Middle, and taught social studies in Orange County Public Schools for 10 years. She has worked as an educator since 1984. Dr. Collins received her Bachelors Degree from University of West Florida, Pensacola and both Masters and Doctoral Degrees from University of Central Florida, Orlando. Dr. Collins is married to Edward Collins. They are the proud parents of two children, Dr. Candace Lynne Collins, a clinical pharmacist focusing in oncology and Michael Collins, a graduate of Florida A & M University and two grandchildren, Evan Collins and Jada Eve Collins. Dr. Collins is a fourth generation educator, having had both parents, grandfather, and great-grandmother work as teachers. She also has a twin sister, Carole Alexander, who is a guidance counselor and English teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina and a brother, John R. Woods who is an insurance manager and a minister.

He was a part of the Marching Band and Phi Mu Alpha during his studies at UCF. Before being a teacher, Mr. Donnan wanted to be an effects animator for Industrial Light and Magic.

Mrs. Gattis earned a Bachelor or Science Degree in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University in Virginia. She later completed all of her undergraduate work in computer science and began her Masters in Computer Science at University of Central Florida. Mrs. Gattis began teaching at Ocoee High School as a math teacher. She came to Crooms in 2007 to teach C++ computer programming and introduction to technology. High School students are my favorite age group and programming is my absolute love.

Ms. LeRoy has been an employee of SCPS for approximately twenty-one years, five of which have been as the bookkeeper here at Crooms. Ms. LeRoy transferred to Crooms from the IS Department where she served as a Project Specialist for construction and renovation projects. Her tenure with SCPS started at Seminole High School where she started as an office assistant before becoming the executive secretary for twelve years. Prior to her years with SCPS, Ms. LeRoy was employed by the City of New Smyrna Beach for over thirteen years in various capacities including: administrative secretary of the parks and recreation department, administrative secretary and then police records supervisor of the police department, and ended her career as an accounting clerk.

After college, she worked as a marketing representative for Xerox, Western Union and as a sales manager at Personnel One. It wasn't until after she had children and started volunteering in their school that she wanted to become a teacher.

She received a BS in English, an MLS from the Univesity of South Carolina and an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from UCF. As the Senior Class Advisor, one of her main responsibilities is planning graduation.

Mr. Rocke is a 1981 graduate of Maynard Evans High School. He completed his AA at Valencia Community College, received a BA in Theatre (Technical Emphasis) and a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education from The University of Central Florida, and a Masters of Educational Leadership from Stetson University. Mr. Rocke has been teaching in Seminole County since 1998, and is a Disney Teacherific award winner. His outside interests include playing bass guitar and sports.

Andy Yin attended the UN and RPI in Troy, NY. While in college he participated in Engineering and the Chinese association. Mr. Yin majored in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Yin was an engineer with Siemens in Lake Mary for almost 28 years. After the plant closing, he decided to stay in the area and got a teaching job at Crooms.
